Carambola
The setting is pure magic. Tables nestled along a cliff front overlooking
the tranquil Caribbean Sea. Moonlit evenings provide that last touch
of perfection. Chef Gregory Austin's sensibilities are superb and
have earned him a reputation of excellence tinged with refreshing
originality. With a menu that offers an enticing combination of
French cuisine, Caribbean flair, and an Asian touch, coupled with
a high standard of service, Carambola promises a fairy tale evening
of unforgettable cuisine and impeccable ambiance.
Calabaza
The West coast's newest oceanfront restaurant, Calabaza offers a
'world of cuisine with a world of difference'. A magnificent cliff-side
setting and an innovative layout create a soothing mood and grace
each table with its own ocean view. Chef Steve Bredemear and his
award winning team present a refreshing selection of European, Japanese,
Latin, Mediterranean, and Caribbean dishes ensuring a memorable

Daphne's
Restaurant
Located in the beautiful Tamarind Cove Hotel, this is the first
overseas venture for the famous London restaurant. Serving modern
Italian dishes in a beautiful garden setting, Barbadian style--close
to the beach where the sound of the tide gently lapping the shore
adds to the enchanting ambience. Daphne's Barbados combines the
fine cuisine and eclectic Italian menu of its famous London counterpart
with a truly idyllic beachside setting.
Fish Pot
The Fish Pot is a chic and charming alternative to the Island's
more traditional restaurants. This new restaurant is refreshingly
informal, relaxed and uncomplicated. It feels more like dining at
home with the butler and a full staff in attendance. While the ambiance
is comfortably familiar, the food conjured up by Chef Trevor Byer,
well known for his exceptional flair and as a chef of the highest
quality, is far from pedestrian. The menu and daily specials are
predominantly seafood innovatively combining delicious local fruit
and vegetables. Located at the waters edge in the tranquil little
fishing village of Shermans, the Fish Pot has only just arrived
on the restaurant scene.
La Mer
Located on the Port St. Charles property is the elegant La Mer Restaurant
- it is the most exciting and enticing new restaurant to open in
Barbados in recent years. Chef Hans Schweitzer (formally of Sandy
Lane) offers an enticing blend of French and International cuisine.
La Mer is currently one of the top restaurants on the Island promising
an unforgettable dining experience.
The Cliff
Long considered Barbados' premiere restaurant, the Cliff is set
right on the waters edge and is designed in an amphitheater-style
with all four terraced-levels overlooking the beautiful West Coast.
The Cliff is a must for those who are partial to fine dining in
an exceptional setting with unmatched ambiance. Chef Paul Owens
strives to improve upon his excellent performance by delighting
diners with a culinary experience to remember time after time. An
international menu and a high standard of service make this restaurant
an excellent choice.
The Tides
Combine chef/owner Guy Beasley's innovative cuisine, created with
local delicacies of the sea and the wonderful international fare
with a relaxed atmosphere and get The Tides, a place discerning
diners keep on returning to. Set on the sea in an old coral stone
building right in Holetown, St. James, this lively restaurant is
also quite close to the Island's night life.
L'Acajou
Sandy Lane's Signature restaurant is located on the Foyer Level,
where you are invited to enjoy French international cuisine and
fine wines in an open-air waterfront setting. The menu showcases
the freshest island seafood, local delicacies and the best of imported
products. Two hundred and fifty years ago the land on which Sandy
Lane is built was a dense mahogany grove. Today several of these
beautiful trees remain in front of the terrace to L'Acajou, which
is the French translation for mahogany. The cuisine at L'Acajou
is prepared in a European style with hints of Asia, food that is
innovative, exciting and full of different textures and flavours.
La Bella
Collina
The newest Italian Restaurant to open its doors on the West Coast
and the latest venture of former British tennis star David Lloyd.
Set in the beautiful Sugar Hill Resort, overlooking the Caribbean
Sea, the ambience is magical. Chef Franco Parisi from Varese, Italy
will offer you a wide selection of meat, local fish, and vegetarian
dishes prepared in a modern Mediterranean way. Truly, an unforgettable
experience!
La Terra
La Terra offers an imaginative menu with emphasis on flavors borrowed
from Italian cuisine. Chef owner Larry Rogers is one of the pioneering
restaurateurs on the Island and who likes to be creative in the
kitchen with tastes and presentation. La Terra promises an evening
to savour even for the most discerning diner.
